Child Psychiatrist Dr. Tzvi Furer Honored as a Distinguished Fellow by the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP)

Dr. Tzvi Furer, an experienced double-board certified Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, was recently recognized as a Distinguished Fellow by the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).

The Distinguished Fellow designation (DFAACAP) is the highest honor given to members of AACAP, recognizing their outstanding contributions and impact within the realm of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Expressing appreciation for this esteemed recognition, Dr. Tzvi Furer shared, "It's an absolute honor to receive this acknowledgement from AACAP, an organization that I believe in and has allowed me to truly build my identity as a child & adolescent psychiatrist. It is extremely meaningful to receive an award from an organization that I so strongly believe in, and have actively participated in since I was a medical student. I am proud to continue to work towards the advancement of child and adolescent psychiatry, and am humbled to be in the company of peers that I so greatly respect."

In addition to his work as a Distinguished Fellow, Dr. Furer currently is the owner and treating children, adolescents, adult psychiatrist at Palm Tree Psychiatry (www.palmtreepsychiatry.com), servicing Florida patients in-person in Jupiter, FL as well as virtual visits across Florida, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, and Massachusetts.

Dr. Tzvi Furer joins a field of honored professionals from the AACAP community, and his recognition demonstrates his commitment to excellence within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
